Maverick Huff

I have been passionate about soccer since I was five years old and began playing competitively at the age of nine. Currently, I play for Indialantic Force in Indialantic, Florida, where I’ve been a member of the team since the U10 level. As I’ve progressed as an athlete, I’ve transitioned from Center Back to Center Midfield, allowing me to contribute to both the defensive and offensive aspects of the game.

Standing at 5’10” and weighing 135 pounds, I am proud to serve as the captain of my club team, where I continue to grow as a player and a leader both on and off the field.

I firmly believe that being a dedicated student is just as important as excelling as an athlete. As an incoming freshman in the Class of 2029, I currently hold a 3.7 weighted GPA and have already earned seven high school credits during middle school — putting me a full year ahead of many of my peers. While I continue to pursue my soccer aspirations with passion and focus, I am equally committed to maintaining a strong academic foundation and achieving balance between the classroom and the field.

My goal is to compete at the highest level of collegiate soccer and to be a dedicated, positive, and impactful member of my team. At the same time, I am committed to pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, combining my passion for sports with a strong academic foundation.
