Maverick Huff

I have been passionate about soccer since I was five years old and began playing competitively at the age of nine. I played for Indialantic Force in Indialantic, Florida, since the U10 level. I also played Varsity soccer at Bayside High in Palm Bay where I started 10 games at Center Back.  

In 2026-2027 I am moving to Sarasota Florida to play with the U16 MLS Next team at DME Academy Sarasota. As I’ve progressed as an athlete, I have played Center Mid very often, but my most competitive positions are Left back and Center Back.  

Standing at 5’11” and weighing 155 pounds, I am proud to continue to grow as a player and a leader both on and off the field.

I firmly believe that being a dedicated student is just as important as excelling as an athlete. As a high school student in the Class of 2029, I currently hold a 3.7 weighted GPA and entered high school with seven previously earned credits — placing me a full year ahead of many of my peers. While I continue to pursue my soccer aspirations with passion and focus, I remain equally committed to maintaining a strong academic foundation and achieving balance between the classroom and the field.

My goal is to compete at the highest level of collegiate soccer and to be a dedicated, positive, and impactful member of my team. At the same time, I am committed to pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, combining my passion for sports with a strong academic foundation.
